AEEIIII!!!! Not that I need the business for the 'other' job, but before anyone tries this please be aware that you should NEVER attempt to boil ethyl alcohol, or any other flammable liquid, on the stove top- especially if you have a gas range! An electric stove can be used with a little more margin for safety but be aware that the boiling point of the ethanol is MUCH lower than water. You won't need much heat at all. Can we say 'job security'?! :-) Just setting the dish out will cause the ethanol to evaporate & leave the goodies & this is the method I have done for sometime now. A shallow pan works better as it allows more surface area and faster evaporation. -Jim C MWPH
