Hey everyone, I know that the part of the pepper around the placenta is supposed to be the hottest part. However, my red savinas (tm) seem to be a little extreme. If I eat any part of the the pepper (front, middle, or back) that is not near the placenta, there is almost NO heat. We're talking the same heat level as pablano. OTOH, if the parts of the pepper near or attached to the placenta make Dave's Burned Cat in a Bottle and Da Bomb taste mild (naturally packaged pepper mace?)! Has anyone else had a similar experience with this or any other variety? Speaking of dry, if we don't get some rain in Norman USA soon, fishing equipment will consist of a broom and a dust pan. John
