Before I posted that recipe of mine this morning for the soy sauce, after following the soy sauce with Tabasco thread, I took some over to a friend who works for the car dealer where I get my car serviced, who is also a chile head, although not yet a member of this list, (trying to change that!)and he went into raptures over this soy sauce...it has everything, hot, sweet, salty, but no vinegar taste for all of those vinegar "lovers" out there....he immediately wanted the recipe.....so, I told him it was available at the C-H list!!! I may break down and give it to him anyway, I do have to get my car serviced at that Ford dealer, occasionally! Try it, the recipe takes me about haf an hour to do from start to finish, and if you are into rice, or Chinese, and also like heat, then this is for you...please let me know how you like it, because it is right outta the old guys head(well, I did look at the ingredients on the Dutch Ketjap Manis bottlefrom Conimex) but there the similarity ended.
