Hi All, Purple seems to be the in color for peppers this year - I saved seed from serranos that I grew in the greenhouse last year and out of 3 plants from them this year one has striking purple chiles and the others are the usual green ones. I was growing some purple malibus on the same bench last year and it looks as though I got some cross-pollination. The purple fruited plant was much earlier to have flowers and chiles than the green ones. Is this sort of thing common? Needless to say, I can't wait to compare their heats etc :) Regards to All, Ron Hill in the East of England.
