Joe >One bit of advice I'd have for you is to try to find a company that >actually grows it's own seeds. This eliminates the possibility that the >wholesaler that a company bought seeds from mis-labeled the seeds. Here's the rub, this information is not available to the average CH. Dave Anderson of TL Chile is the only seed supplier that has ever admitted buying and reselling seeds. My orignal concept, last Jan, was to raise and flea/farmers mkt a rainbow of habs, White, Pink, lemon, lilac, orange, red and chocolate. What would you say to vendor that had a Red Aji with a sign Lemon Habanero ? For me to buy plants here's how that works. I am on the edge of Zone 5b and 4a. For me to have chiles they need to be a 12 to 16 in plant by June 1. And absolutly no mistakes in transplanting too early or overfeeding. My last 6 plant orders worked like this, Loose 2 in shipping, recieve 2 to 3 inch plants Mid May. At this point 4 plants with 1 pod per plant and less than 20 days before average first frost. Average cost is $20 per 6 plants at 4 pods equal about $5 per pod. I don't think too many CH's pay that price. Byron
