Thank you, one and all.  I think I have this licked.  If this still
adds the attachment, I'm sure I will be notified.  I appreciate
the feedback and help provided.  The culprit seems to have
been me accidently checking the rich-text-format box when
trying to help a co-worker with an e-mail problem he had.  I
stand willing to pay for my crimes, but request some degree
of mercy due to the fact that this is my work computer, and I
simply have no choice but to use the system the Army has
standardized upon.  (Doesn't *that* make you feel safe.)
