Hi All I live in NZ and my C.pubescens results are very much different to your advice. Last year I grew a total of 20 pubescens in 1gal (imp) containers in soil-less mix. In the first season they all flowered and fruited-20 per plant!! From where I am sitting I can see 4 Manzano Amarillos, still in the 1gal pots, with about a total of 30 fruit still on and 4.5feet high and they are not under cover . I might add we also have one of the hottest summer areas in NZ, up to 35C, but a very low humidity, and falling to 10C at night in summer and a low of -2 av in winter. I can still get 40+ Habs on a 2ft plant in a 1/2 gal pot by the end of the season. We are lucky here with the wide range of temps. Regards Alan Portman PS. I am really on a high as I have just germinated my first C.cardenasii from 2yr old seed--I failed last year.
