RE: [CH] Orange Red Savina's

Last year we grew about 25 Red Savina plants. Seeds from Shepherd's. There
were 4 different shape fruits and 5 different colors. Only 2 plants were
true to the description. Shepherd's gave me a full refund. Many folks had
that problem last year. Jim Campbell said he only had about 3% off type.
Growing some Francisca this year and have problems with small fruit and one
plant produces red. The weather has been so hot and dry it may be the cause
of the small fruit.

Have not tasted the Francisca, but there does not seem to be much
difference in them and some of the Orange Red Savina's from last year, only
most are smaller. I was looking forward to a giant orange hab. Maybe I'll
have better luck next year.
