http://www.blennow.se/temp/3peppers2b.jpg These are grown in pots, from plants bought at a local nursery. The "Cayenne" i no where like any cayenne I had. It develops huge fruits, changing from very light green to orange to red as shown. There is positively NO heat, it is sweet as the nicest bell. Makes me think of the Turkish bells (both taste- and shape-wise) that are sold on local markets here. A most amiable experience for a bell lover. The "Pasilla" is growing to a large bush with lots of big fruits. For those of you who think some Jals taste like grass, this is the extreme form. It tastes JUST grass. Well, there is a hint of heat if you really chomp down, but it is hardly recognizable for an indutrial strength CH. One of the worst and most useless varieties I have tried. The "Early Jalapeno" is a hit though. The heat of this one made me almost choke, as if I was chomping away on a hab. Thick-fleshed, as it should be, with a most wonderful flavour. is starting to fruit now... some chinense variety. Better try to keep that warm and lighted and see if I can get some sample fruits. Night temperatures are falling down to +5C/40F here, while day temps are still up at a decent +20C/68F. When do I need to move the plants indoors? Is it the frost that I should care about? I would like to save seeds from that great Jalapeno. I know this has been discussed over and over, I was just not listening too well. Can anyone help me with some simple directions? Thanks all, Kristofer
