Byron, My only explanation for your earlier ripeness (not only the Chiles, but also you) is the fact that day length is still longer here than in the Granite woods. You have a Sept 10 average first frost, I'll be picking till black frost in another month. Meanwhile, my greenies just keep getting bigger, and bigger, and bigger ... and more numerous, more numerous .... Although I must admit 131 white Habbs from three plants will be hard to beat, and I used substantially more fert than you.... Gareth
