Hi Ken, salted boiled peanuts were quite popular in the bars of our
hotels in Queensland OZ, 20-yrs ago and before, I think they have now
been overtaken by more trendy snacks. My older step brother ran a small
smoking operation from Perth WA (Oz) for a while, He claimed one of the
nicest things he ever tasted was smoked peanuts, so its maybe worth a
try to boil some in a brine with habs and then smoke them over a good
wood with some chipotles thrown in for good measure to add some aroma...

also trying to figure out if the insurance company will pay out if I
tell them a 14 lb  hammer accidentally fell on my new puter...
