Snip, snip, snip..... >>Sadly, I have found very little useful info on this list. If you'll notice after reading a couple of weeks the same things are repeated over and over and over and over. I signed on to this list about two weeks ago, and have been lurking happily. Maybe I haven't been around long enough to see things repeated over and over, but sometimes a little reinforcement helps. I certainly hope some of the growing tips appear over and over in a few months when I can start my first chile garden. Useful? Jalapeno Cream Soup, curried garbanzos and chile colorado. If you'll note there's a group of these insecure types on here that band together to intimidate others which is the reason few post compared to the number that read Hmm. Who _are_ you describing? I've seen a lot of people on this list with wonderful senses of humor, and pretty tough skins. (I suppose it's the chiles.) I've also seen some tempers and other less glamorous aspects of the human character. So what! If this list was all smiles and kisses, I would think I stumbled on to a list of Stepford Chileheads. Everyone of us has all these aspects in us, pleasant and ugly both. Personally, I'm glad everyone's not like me; life would go smoothly, but it would be pretty damn boring. Now that I've said all that, can we get back to chile recipes??
