Less than two weeks away to the open fields (weather permitting). I had at first envisioned the 'weather permitting' to mean whether or not it would be raining. The high temp for tomorrow is predicted to be only 58 F and the low is 38 F- scattered frost warnings! Shouldn't be a problem this first time around though. It looks like it is going to be a pretty good gathering for gathering! I've received replies from Ohio (several), Indiana (a few), and as far off as Wisconsin. Lots of room for camping, so there can't be too many! Please let me know if you will be attending and whether or not you'll be camping out with us that night. E-mail me off list for directions. We should have drinks courtesy of http://www.thomasfamilywinery.com , still working on Bill Botkin http://www.redfoxsalsa.com to attend, and John Hard of http://www.cajohns.com will also be there. Alex has promised to fire up his grill & I'll bring a smoker for the New Mexican chiles- we can drift off to sleep with the smell of roasting chiles and the occasional howl from the coyotes (not to mention the occasional howl from the late night latrine users who had one too many habs:-) Hope to see you there! -Jim C MWPH Franklin, IN
