Last week I picked enough Rocoto and Manzana chiles to take to Farmer's Market. (They were green of course). They were planted here in Indiana in mid-late June. I have never had them so early. They certainly have not enjoyed cool weather or any amount of water, yet they are looking beautiful. This is the first year I have not grown them in a valley so they have been very stressed. Hmm....maybe I will do this agian next year. Susan Byers The Chile Woman
