I would like to thank everyone who made it out to the fields this last
weekend.  It was certainly my pleasure to have met some more of the
really cool people who make up this list!  Jeff 'Pepperman' & his
brother drove all the way from Wisconsin (that works out to Habs for
only $23/lb ;-), Bill J & crew from TN, Hobby Farmer & wife (white
chili!) from MI, Ms Chatfield from OH (along with half the state
including Alex S & Linda, Alex & Larry, & CaJohn), and Dances with Carp
made it all the way up from Bloomington, IN!

This will be an annual event so start marking your calendars for
sometime around the first couple of weeks of October 2000.  As this will
be a yearly thing, it was suggested that a name be chosen for the event
(so that I might have T-shirts made for the attendees).  As we as a list
have had success naming things in the past (knuckledraggers, nuerotics,
and puppy dogs :-), and as I have no imagination, suggestions are
appreciated.

So far we have (courtesy of Alex S):  Habalanche, and Hab-itat for
Humanity.  Bill 'the lurker' Jernigan suggests 'Field of Dreams'.  Any
others?

Once again, thanks one and all for your presence and hope to see you
next year!
