[CH] Plants from West Dean Gardens

I bought 4 chilli plants from the West Dean Chilli Fiesta in August and was
led to believe that they would live through the winter, but have since been
informed that they are anual plants and die off every year. Already 2 of
them are looking a bit sad even though they are now kept indoors and watered
when required. Should I attempt to feed them, remove the sick-looking stems,
and should I now remove all remaining peppers, any advice would be welcome.
