Good morning, fellow chile-heads! Two weeks ago, when it had begun to cool off in So Cal, I was resigned to the fact that few plants would flower and/or bear fruit. Wrong! Two weeks of middle 80s to low 90s and humidity in the single digits have resulted in hundreds of new blooms and the setting of a vast number of new fruit. True, they take longer to ripen, now that the days are appreciably shorter, but before long, we will have to crank up our ol' dehydrator again for a tidal wave of chiles :) Ron Van Nuys, CA
