Linda Reynolds was looking for a jerky recipe to use with her dehydrator. I
make it quite a bit. I had researched about a hundred jerky recipes and came up
with this one. It is mostly like I found it except for the Hab powder and
something else that I don't remember.

For meat I wait until there is bottom round, or sirloin on sale than send the
wife to market. She bats the baby blues at the butcher and asks for a nice 2"
cut. They usually come out at about 5 pounds each. In all cases, I put the
dried jerky in ziplock bags and keep it in the freezer. That way if it isn't
dry enough it won't go bad.
