as a break from chopping & freezing (see also 'the way of the Hunan Hand'). I'm having great success with a Hitachi CM620ET - my 17" computer monitor at work. It's got a very broad flat top with lots of vent holes which the chiles don't block so the warm air just flows past them. This works a treat for the various thin-walled chiles I've produced, drying them gradually over a couple of days, plus it adds a bit more colour to the otherwise drab expanse of my workarea - if you ignore the various chile plants of course. On the other hand, those Excalibur dryers look pretty interesting too, the only problem being that purchasing one from the UK seems a bit tricky via the various websites I've found to-date. If anyone's got any suggestions here then I'd be most grateful ! Cheers, Tony.
