Two recommendations.  I don't remember exactly what street they're on,
but in the market, there's a great hot sauce place called Chilly
Chiles.  Cool stuff.  And they have a catalog.

We also went to a great Thai place in downtown Ottawa called Sweet
Basil.  The portions aren't very big, but the food is tasty and the
spring rolls wrapped around a whole prawn are delicious.
