Hi there, And thanks Deb for the suggestion that I use cheap smooth peanut butter for cold noodles. One of those not-too-obvious tips, like using Velveeta in chile con queso. It's been a while since someone asked for good London restaurants, but the question has come up a couple of times. My lovely husband took me to Le Petit Prince on Holmes Road in Kentish Town for my birthday. It's a couscous joint and really reasonable. This French couple started it in the 1970s, but leased it out and the standards fell. The French couple is back and the couscous is really good. We had the CousCous Imperial for two, which had merguez sausages, grilled lamb (chops and en brochette), stewed chicken and so on. Couscous grains, vegetables in broth and harissa were served "au volonte", which means all you can eat and it was only 23 pounds. We stirred lots of harissa into the couscous to satisfy our need for heat. This is the best couscous I've had in years. One might find better in Paris or North Africa, but certainly not in England. And no, I'm not related to the owners - just thrilled with their food. Cheers, Virginia
