Ah, Doug- What miracles have you and your lovely wife wrought in this winter-delayed Capsicum Establishment!! Were it not for your valiant and heroic efforts in keeping the North Gate closed we would be all but destitute, our green thumbs permanently and painfully frozen to the proverbial flagpole of old man winter. Yesterday, however, we celebrated the Thanksgiving of our forefathers-- a bit late--- by harvesting a veritable Bonanza of peppers! Over 600 Jamaican Reds (12 plants!!!), several thousand Chiltepin/Tepin/Hybrid Tepins, a couple hundred Hawaiian Hybrids, several hundred bullets, a hundred Bishop's Crowns, lots of Aji Amarillos and Aji Omnicolor, a number of obscure varieties, and over 2000 ripe Tabascos. All together, my business partner (also a CH) and I picked pecks of unpickled peppers for over 4 hours each. These fruits of bounty are now seeking permanent Nirvana in the Great Temple of Dehydration Consciousness. Fear not for these fruits, for they shall rest in pieces (very, very tiny pieces), joined together in Holy Circular Matrimony by the Reverend Hamilton Beach. ...........IguessibetterstoppostingtotheListwhenimstonedonpepperfumes!!!! Happy Holidays, ChileHeads, those seeds are in the mail. Calvin
