[CH] Habanero Seed Shortage???

Dear Seed Growing Heads:

In my monthly mailing from Seminis Vegetable, they mentioned 
that they expect to have a much lower than expected harvest of 
seeds of Orange Habenero from their growing area in Baja 
California, Mexico. They also mentioned that since they also grow 
Caribbean Red Habanero in the same area, there may be a 
problem with enough seeds for it.

Seminis developed and grows all Caribbean Red Habanero that I 
know of and provides Orange Habanero to most of the retail seed 
companies in the US.

I think that I have enough of both seeds to handle my expected 
2000 orders, but some of the really big seed retailers may have 
problems with supply. You may want to get your seed orders in for 
these varieties early this year.
