There's a company in Massachusetts (with a plant in Texas) that sells research products for biological laboratories (e.g., enzymes, tissue culture reagents, DNA stuff, etc) with a new promotional idea...free dried chiles or hot sauce/salsa with every order!  Quite a breath of fresh (but fiery) air in a field that is usually stiffer than Generalissimo Franco.  I tried to buy some chile products directly but they didn't know how to handle a request like that.   Apparently, their CEO is a bigtime chilehead and manufactures his own chile products back in Texas.  The website even has spicy recipes!  I ordered my free XXX Hot Sauce along with some antibiotics for an experiment.  I think I'll be a frequent buyer until some company comes along with a free beer offer.
