Small Chile-Head World: Today at lunch I learned that one of my co-workers
is also on this list. Hi, Jeff!
Last time I was this close to another c-h was when I had a temp assignment
at Ohio State (in the stadium, no less) and I used to walk past Cameron's
office building on my way to lunch.
I don't know, maybe we should all go in on a Columbus hotluck sometime.
Overwintering note: my jamaican hot plant is in its fourth winter now, and
as usual, it is under attack by small white web-building critters which I
assume are spider mites. This is the worst time of the year for my plants,
after they've been shortchanged on daylight but before the lengthening days
have much beneficial effect. At least I can still pick some fresh peppers
... hmm, now how might I work those in with that package of frozen chilean
sea bass? I want to do something with those nice $1.49/lb red and yellow
bell peppers the Anderson's store on Sawmill Rd. has.
