 Chilli Festival 2000.
The Fragrant Garden Chilli Festival March 10, 11 &12
Once again The Fragrant Garden Chilli Festival is about to titillate your
senses and warm up your March. Annette Benson, a highly qualified Medical
Herbalist, will be available to talk with you about the many medicinal,
healing and health properties of chilli. Jeff the Chilli Chef has a zany
sense of humour and has experimented with every rare chilli the world has
to offer. He has developed lots of  innovative cooking techniques using
chilli. His amazing knowledge of chilli cooking, preserving and
sauce-making is unequalled.  Michael Bailes is the author of the recently
published book "The Fragrant Chilli".  He has an encyclopedic knowledge of
chilli, has a wacky sense of humour and is a most entertaining speaker. He
frequently appears on radio and TV. programs.
 Entry will be $2 per person. (This is not a festival for children.  All
food will be hot and alcohol will be served.)The Fragrant Garden Chilli
Festival will focus again on plants and education with many lectures and
demonstrations on the medicinal, culinary, preserving, using and growing
aspects of Chilli. Unusual herb plants such as Kaffir Lime, saffron, Rau
Ram) often used with chillies will also be featured.
We will also have fun with the Red Hot Chilli Mummas singing about Chilli,
stalls selling chilli produce and lots of interesting chilli food available
from our café.

flavours of chilli

4.00	Silly Chilli  -wild wacky wonderful Chillies. Questions and answers.
