Last Oct. there was a discussion about freezing pepper seeds, I really didn't think it would work. I was cutting up up SB's for processing, I save some seeds, did the Soak off the pulp, removed imature seeds etc. On 11/3 I placed some SB seeds in the freezer and left some out. On 2/3 I removed the seeds from the freezer and allowed 48 hours for them to thaw out, Used my seed starting method on both frozen and unfrozen seeds. And planted 20 of each. The frozen seeds appear to have taken about 3 days longer to germinate. Germination rate seems to be a factor 11 out of 20 frozen seeds germinated 19 out of 20 un-frozen seeds germinatd. FYI and FWIW Byron
