Doug's recipes are great and us old geezers are entitled to move into fixed opinions by virtue of the fact that we seizing up fast:-) Plus the scars on our knuckles play up in cold weather. Mine are fine in our present hot weather. Judging by the amount of bell peppers sold in the supermarkets here at high prices they must have a certain popularity among the non Ch Kiwis, and where would my wonderful hot jalepeno jam be without red or orange bells? The Habeneros I planted on black plastic are looking great after a slow start and are now covered in small fruit. Not a weed in sight. Nice to see Rael untwist his typing finger and rejoin us.
