Thanks Hobby, but some of our peppers have been traveling around the globe for hundreds of years now, would you think they might pick up something nasty on their long trip back to the USA? I am not saying they do/have/are carrying new foreign diseases or pests, just curious if anyone has had any problems. The general consensus seems to be go for it and bring in new seeds. Considering how much controversy was generated over GM of pepper plants I would have thought people would be more cautious about possibly infecting the entire country with some new pepper disease that found a naive host when peppers were introduced in a new land and then hitched a ride back to America. If my Indian friend goes back to India I will ask them to bring back a couple of ounces of seeds and it will be my turn to share seeds with the list.
