I'm gonna have to revise my original rating of this. I originally thought it might not rate the 3 X's. On first tasting that was very true. Don't know if the new full bottle wasn't shaken up enough or if it just happened to be what my mouth was up to on the first tasting or what. Have now tried it shaken out on my hand and slurped up and again with a steak. It is nicely hot and probably does deserve the 3 X's. But I also get some pretty good hab flavor along with the heat in my bottle. Deb in Houston RisaG wrote: >>I've had that variety of El Yuc for a few months now. Found it at the Bound Brook Shoprite along with the Bufalo Chipotle & Jalapeno sauces. So it can be found in NJ. It is XXXhot, to me anyway, and I can deal with habanero's pretty well. It is Heat & less flavor so if you don't like sauces that are mainly heat with little flavor, you won't like it. If you enjoy mainly heat, you will love it. IMHO. I know this is the Chile-Heads list but some C-H's don't like extreme heat with no flavor. I've spoken privately with quite a few. Some love it. This one is for you. I use it sparingly. About once a week, a few drops on something. That is it. The slowest bottle in my collection.<<
