I think one of the main benefits is the aerobic work out one gets when eating a Chile or Chile enhanced food that is over your tolerance level. The mild panic adrenaline rush, when you realize you have gone more than a little to far (really gets the old ticker pumping). Followed by fast pacing around looking for something to quill the fire, rapid arm movement in an attempt to cool your mouth with fanning hands and the increased respiratory rate (giving the lungs a good workout) by quick deep breathing and powerful exhaling. Followed by a good sweat to clean the skins pores. All in all, a very healthy activity!
