[gardeners] Nursery hopping

Ended up blowing off the nursery hopping trip scheduled for today. Strong
thunderstorms moving through the area and heaps of rain. Instead we had a
late brunch at the local Cracker Barrel restaurant and then off to the Big
Lots and Hobby Lobby stores so my wimmen folk could prowl and growl. Hobby
Lobby was kinda profitable, they had 18 inch terra cotta pots, big hummers,
for $4.88 each. Blew a twenty dollar bill on 4 of those but think it will
be worth it. Some of my stuff that is in plastic nursery pots will now get
pots that can breathe.
Still raining so it's time to catch up on things that can be done indoors.
I think I'll read my new copy of Stocking Up or Putting Food By. It pays to
anticipate a bountiful harvest.
