Margaret, Sounds like you had a great day!!! But....a jacket? 42??? Just how far north do you live? Even Santa is warmer than that now! :-) I am also a great admirerer (sp?) of fernleaf Japanese peonies and columbines. Enjoy your new ones enough for me too! :-) It's hotter than fire here, and I'm sure it's worse where George and Harry are. It's also very dry here and the corn in the fields is curling up badly, and the soybeans are not growing. We need rain, and we need it badly. Again, I know from what George has said, it is worse in his area. The farmers are cutting the cabbage and picking the cucumbers, as they've had enough rain to make these early crops, but the big money makers are yet to come in. I hope we get substantial, but not flooding rains soon. Glad y'all had a great day! :-) Bambi >My first mistake was not taking a jacket or >raincoat >Got our fernleaf Japanese peonies there for a >fraction of usual nursery costs. Temp is 42. Margaret
