Catharine,

I don't know what's wrong, but it sounds as if your mother is mad as hell
at something or someone.  I think I'd give her time to handle whatever it
is,
and call me back when she was feeling better.  This seems to be the lesser
of two evils.  Otherwise you might get shot.  She brought you into this
world....
