I hear ya, Catharine! Our heat index has been in the same range for the last several days too. And it's been so dry. We did have a thunderstorm last night, but the rain came down in buckets, and ran off really fast too. Then it was over, but at least it helped a little! I hate to see our water bill this month! Sorry to hear that you are ill. Glad it will soon be over! Remember, wash your hands good :-) Bambi--from Carolina where the livin' can't be finer!! >With a heat index of 108-115F (unheard of for June in Atlanta) and no sign >of rain or relief I gotta say that I am almost glad I wasn't able to put >in much of a garden this season. >the worst part is that just as the first... > begin to be ready >for pickin', I catch a stomach virus and can't keep things down. >Catharine, from Saints Preserve Us Roadkill Inn and Urban Farm where >we twang our toothpicks and drawl, "Life Ain't Guud but It Ain't Bad >Either."
