George, no I have never eaten coon, either. How about crocodile at a Korean bar-b-q..? And I've certainly had venison steaks done over a campfire, complete with home made bread spread with bear grease... I'll eat pumpkin pie, at Thanksgiving. Would eat anything on this earth, if it were pickled! And my daughter's m-in-law taught me to stir-fry up the beet greens she gives me, in olive oil and garlic -- um-yum! Now I never think to serve them, but I enjoy grits served with butter and a bit of salt. But the one thing I could never adjust to was the Thankgiving turkey my landlady sent up to my room down in Carolina. It had been coated with a sweet batter, and I thought I would die...
