And then there is the loony Cousin DeDe.....no relation to Dee Dee who is 
the sysop for the Gardener's mailing list. (Poor woman...Dee Dee, that 
is....must be appalled that there is this redneck DeDe running around 
loose!). 

DeDe, the cousin was "born" so to speak in 1983 on The Source, an 
online service that no longer exists. At one time, CompuServe and The 
Source used to battle it out for who had the most subscribers. DeDe and 
her kin have been popping up and dropping in on various mailing lists, 
services, etc., etc. ever since.
