Spoke with Bambi on the phone a few hours ago. She's down near Topsail
Island, NC. They had lost power an hour earlier, but other than that they
are doing ok. A few trees down, but no other real serious damage.
We haven't had anything to speak of so far. Just overcast skies and an
occational sprinkle. Could be any other "Partly cloudy with a chance of
thunder storms" day. The wind is picking up a little bit, but thats it so far.
The hurricane is moving a lot slower now. By the time it reaches us it
should mostly be a badly needed rain event.
