Basil when dried loses a lot of its aromatic oils. Better to chop it fine. Make a slurry with water and freeze in icecube trays. Use basil cubes as needed. We made a fine flavoured vinegar this year with spicy globe basil. Works great in salads. bloke@silicon-north.com (Bill & Chris Loke)[Z4/5 on a good day] The Lokeation, RR#1, Kars, Ontario K0A 2E0 Elderberries have more fun than younger berries! -----Original Message----- From: Donna Barna DeCapite <dbarna_decapite@hotmail.com> To: gardeners@globalgarden.com <gardeners@globalgarden.com> Date: Monday, October 05, 1998 3:55 PM Subject: [gardeners] Dehydrating Basil >Hi folks, > >Some time back I saw some posts about dehydrating stuff.
