Hi Margaret, actually Kiama has learned to pull her own carrots from
the garden. She has never made a mess when doing so - just pulls one
and eats it now and then - so I let her continue. It is the peas that I
have to keep her away from!!!

The first Thanksgiving that we had Kiama was interesting. I noticed
that my father's bursitis in his shoulder was bothering him quite a bit
during dinner as it was slumped over and low every so often. When I
asked him if there was something I could do for him, he just looked at
me with a twinkle in his eye, a grin on his face and said, "No." This
continued through the course of dinner when at one point I looked under
the table to see where the puppy was and there she was sitting right
next to my Dad happily eating turkey!! Fathers!!!!!!
