Let's see.  If you were taking Chemistry 101 when flappers were 
extant (about 1927-29) and if you were of approximate mean age for 
college freshmen (18 years-) in 1927 . . . . My, my. You ARE well 
preserved! (Appropriate of course since you *are* a cooking teacher 
and they are typically well versed in preserving methodologies.) And 
you still do all your own garden work? Remarkable.      Pat
