Not saying that this has anything to do with the genetic
'terminator'technology...
Just that this is a very big biz and some good as well as neg evolves as
an outcome.

'* Emergent Genetics in Boulder, Colo. has acquired Daehnfeldt’s
specialty flower and vegetable seed divisions. EG plans to buy more
seed companies, incorporate technology into breeding programs, and
then resell them in 5 to 7 years. EG is negotiating with 7 seed
companies, none in the U.S. Meanwhile, Daehnfeldt moved its U.S.
headquarters from Albany, Ore., to North Manchester, Ind., and is
looking for a permanent location in that area with enough space for
