Catharine, better than hospital pill cups I have sub-miniature
metal bowls (silver in color) which came with small paint
brushes, for spreading melted butter on the corn cobs. They
would do double duty for dunking fries, no question.
My hubby also would not use the ice cream forks. I suspect
that the bowls are not big enough for a man's macho bite.
He does have one male cousin, however, who was to the
manner born, and who would certainly utilize an ice cream fork
if it were put at his dinner place. I saw him discretely walking
around all three tables at Thanksgiving before the dinner was
served, and reversing the direction of each and every knife so
the cutting edge would face the plate......
