Yes, Mary-Anne, we saw that the winds were pushing hard
straight south from Alaska down the coast, and feared for
all of you. Even though it only happens once in a rare while,
it's devastating when it occurs. I'm so sorry about your
garden -- we'll have to cheer you up when spring comes
around!
The temps dropped exactly 20 degrees today between 8:30am
and 2:30pm, with very high winds. We have to wrap some shrubs,
but it was so forbidding that we turned tail and came back inside.
Thailand and Burma...? That sounds sensational -- with a tour
or alone? For how long? Should I ask -- how's the weather over
there? <vbg>
