I do similar, except I do a little smaller for now, I use 1 drop
of dish detergent and 1 drop of mouthwash per qt.
Mouthwash helps kill the bad bacteria.

For feeding, in a non-nutrient potting soil, I add 1 drop of 100% 5-10-5
per 1/2 gal for veggies from 1st to the 4th true leaf, then I switch
to a 5% solution every time I water.

I use a $5 dial thermomter to adjust water temp to the room temp.
when drawing water for plants.
