I know this may sound foolish, but has anyone experimented with pepper or tomato seeds, by planting with the Radicle side (where the roots form) of the seed straight down with the top just barely below the soil surface. The ones I tried seem to emerge faster, but I had a higher numbers of plants not being able to shed their seed coats. Just want to lean something new Byron
