[gardeners] Spring and seedlings

How do we know it's spring? Well, there was rain mixed with the snow that
fell all day yesterday. I'm glad only my potatoes have eyes because if my
other seedlings could have looked outdoors yesterday, they would have turned
around and re-encapsuled themselves. I have had the best germination of
petunias and pansies ever this year. Don't know what I did different which
is worse than knowing why they didn't germinate.:-).
