[gardeners] I've got the Lavendar Blues

Sorry if this was on the list recently but I planted lavendar seeds on
the 30th of March. I planted cardinal flowers and tomatoes on that same
day. The tomatoes and cardinals came up in no time (although I managed
to cook the tomatoes one sunny day, new ones coming up now) but the
lavendar -- she no shows! Could I have cooked the seeds when I cooked
the tomatolings? BTW, I got a couple of pounds of flax seed at the
Co-op up in Brattleboro, VT, to use in an herb pillow, I put some
between wet paper towels and they germinated OVERNIGHT!!! Imagine
that! I could have a whole field of flax if I wanted.

Somebody we all know and love promised to send me some chili pepper
seeds. I wonder if they are coming? I sure hope so. I sure like them. I
sure would like to give some to my buddy, Heidi. I sure hope they didn't
get lost in the mail. I sure like that person with the seeds.
