Gee, George, my day was almost exactly like yours!

I looked out the door this morning and the sun was shining brightly.
Put on jeans and a long-sleeved workshirt over my hubby's
undershirt, knee-hi hose, a hunting shirt, winter jacket, garden
running shoes, scarf at my throat, and work gloves, and headed
out to water the grass seed we had patched. Ducked right back in
and grabbed a bandana plus a fistfull of facial tissues.

Tried to close the gate for George and Allen, but the sun quickly
disappeared behind all the heavy clouds, and the drizzle began.
Jimmie managed to rototill the veggie garden anyway -- he's made
of Vermont hardwood -- while I watched from the kitchen window
where I was potting up a bunch of rooted coleus, many colors.

We had a yoeman's lunch: Jim made himself a hamburger on a
wood fire, and I enjoyed a slice of pizza, a Chinese roast pork-in-
flaky-pastry bun, 2 small mushroom turnovers, some homemade
Chinese fresh ginger and cabbage slaw, some Korean Daikon
radish slaw, a Korean hot pickle, and a juicy Florida orange.
Nyaah, nyaah.
