BSK lime is semi soluable in water, The problem is the average home gardener having the tools to measure .075 oz I have 3 pH meters, I bought 1 from Wal-Mart, they no-longer carry them My local garden center carries a Rapid test brand and I recently purchased A Kelway from Vesey Seeds. Had a website that claims that using pH papers can be misleading because soil particulate left in the water. Byron
